What is ACSR IEC Conductor 61089?

ACSR IEC conductors 61089 (aluminum conductor steel reinforced) They are ideal for use on almost all practical lengths of wooden posts, transmission towers and other structures. Its application ranges from extra high voltage transmission lines (EHV) to subservice sections in distribution voltages or use in private installations.

ACSR Conductor IEC 61089 They have a long history of use thanks to their economy, reliability and excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The combination of the light weight and high conductivity of aluminum with the strength of steel cores allows it to withstand higher stresses, reduce camber and achieve longer spans compared to other alternatives. All ACSR conductors are composed of a solid or stranded steel center core, surrounded by 1350-H19 aluminum strands.
