Application of AAC/AAAC/ACSR, XLPE or HDPE Insulated

These cables are mainly intended for the distribution of electrical energy under normal aerial installation conditions. (aerial) and outdoor service.

1. Conductor: Aluminum alloy 1350-H19 stranded per ASTM B231 or ACSR stranded per ASTM B232 or AAAC stranded per ASTM B399.

2. Separator: A suitable opaque tape, as necessary.

3. Isolation: Thermostable cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) black or high-density thermoplastic polyethylene (HDPE).

ICEA S-70-5 47: Weather-resistant polyolefin-covered wires and cables.

ASTM B231: aluminum conductors 1350 concentric braids.

ASTM B232: Specification for concentric stranded aluminum conductors, reinforced with coated steel (ACSR).

ASTM B399: Specification for Concentric Stranded 6201-T81 Aluminum Alloy Conductors.
